Offering the largest space in the historic Northeast, you will find the space you need for events, celebrations, meetings, classes, and offices! Utilize this historic building for your large or small events or nonprofit leasing needs!
Envision hosting your business meeting, class, small group gathering, birthday or anniversary party, retirement and/or employee reunion, celebration of life, holiday party, concert, gala, or even fundraiser event.
We have various meeting rooms in different shapes, sizes, capacities, setups, and amenities. The building is non-smoking with accessible parking spaces and an elevator.
By renting space in this historic building, you can enjoy its unique architecture and ambiance of this 120-year-old building, while also contributing to the maintenance of this building as a hub for the community. Classes, social services, events, offices, etc., held here help build a stronger, healthier, more vibrant community.
Note: This historic building has one elevator as well as ramps in addition to stairs. Please work with our office to ensure that your needs will be met with the room(s) you are interested in.
CONVENIENT LOCATION
You will find the location fast and easy to find. It’s reachable through the major highways that lead to downtown Kansas City.
Whether you are located north of the river, east of the city, south Kansas City, or west, highways I-70, I-435, I-29/I-35, and US-71 make it fast and easy to locate our building.
Two fenced in parking lots with designated accessible parking spaces, street parking and even a bus stop in the front of the building make it convenient.

Sanctuary (seats up to 700 including balcony): accessible; excellent acoustics; pews and balcony in semi-circle theatre-style

Friendship Room: accessible; rectangle shaped with round tables

Large Chapel: accessible; rectangle shaped

Fellowship Hall (seats 250-300 around rectangle tables): accessible; rectangle shaped; stage; small sound system; 10’x10' screen; large rectangle tables or opt for up to 13 round tables instead for a fee

PARKING AND ACCESS
The church faces Independence Avenue and offers two parking lots as well as street parking.

South parking lot behind church, access from 6th Street with accessible parking spaces. Enter via the gray door from this lot for easy access to the elevator.

East parking lot across from church, access from Gladstone Avenue.

Street Parking (please do not block driveways).
